Episode 24 is what many consider to be the finale of the series, the crescendo of the series. Kaworu Nagisa arrives as the Seele appointed pilot of Evangelion Unit 02. There is something strange about this boy though. AS the final Angel attacks, Shinji faces his most challenging dilemma yet.

Episode 09 is one of my favorite episodes of the entire series. I admit that it isn't a fan favorite, but I positively adore this episode. Shinji and Asuka must learn to work together to defeat the seventh Angel, Israfel. In a tandem assault choreographed to some beautiful music, the pilots take on the next threat.
