Episode 09 is one of my favorite episodes of the entire series. I admit that it isn't a fan favorite, but I positively adore this episode. Shinji and Asuka must learn to work together to defeat the seventh Angel, Israfel. In a tandem assault choreographed to some beautiful music, the pilots take on the next threat.
